HP 840 G2
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

When I plug in the charger the laptop do not detect the AC adaptor. The Led light on the side of the laptop do not blink. When I check the battery symbol in status bar, it do not show the charging or saying the charger is plugged, instead it show the remaining time like when it do not plugged in. When I unplugged the AC, the battery drain normally.

However, when I plugged in the charger the battery percentage stay the same even though the notification said the laptop is not charged. When I turn off the laptop and let it charge overnight, the battery percentage do not increase.

I tried to remove the battery and plugged in the AC but I can't turn on in the laptop which is very weird since laptop could works without battery inserted.

Then I drain the battery until it reach 0% the laptop cannot turn on. But when the AC adaptor plugged in, the laptop can be turned on. The battery remain 0% and not charging.

I already try many solution like removing the battery and press power button for 30 secs and unistalling the Ac compliant in device manager. nothing works.
