HP ZBook Studio G4
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Whenever I put my PC to sleep it wakes up immediately after entering sleep mode. If I attempt to put it to sleep for a second time, then it remains in sleep as it should. This, however, is annoying and unpractical. Even when the laptop is going to sleep by closing the lid, it resumes with the lid closed!

I have tried to look at the BIOS settings, disable all wake-armed devices, and update drivers with no luck. Not to mention that at least two versions of Windows have been installed (half-yearly Windows upgrade cycles) without any effect on the problem.

The problem existed from when I first bought my laptop, one year and a few months ago. It is an HP ZBook Studio G4 mobile workstation.

Recently I used the following command to try and identify the cause of waking, and I got this:

PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> powercfg -lastwake
Wake History Count - 1
Wake History [0]
Wake Source Count - 1
Wake Source [0]
Type: Fixed Feature
Power Button

I would appreciate any help!

Kind regards,

Giannis
