Zbook x360 G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi Everyone,

I have the new HP Zbook x360 G5 workstation with USB-C dock G2 120W version. The dock is connected to an external monitor and nothing else. Everything works well until I connect USB3 hard drive to the dock - this triggers the laptop to go to sleep immediately. When I wake it up back, all works fine, including the USB disk connected to the dock. This happens everytime I plug in external disk to the dock and I tested it on few different drives. Dock runs the latest firmware.

The same USB disks can be connected directly to the laptop, without triggering sleep mode.

Is this one of the strange things that one needs to accept, or can it be fixed?

Thanks,

Tom
