Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

For the past year my laptop has got an issue when my charging would suddenly stop, I could say so by my screen getting dimmer. I got a notification to change my charger, because the notification said the power output is too low. I bought new charger and new battery and the problem still persists to this day.

Besides that I have installed clean windows 10. Still the issue persists. Sometimes my laptop can charge all the way to 100% and stay there for hours, then it can stop charging and I'd have to reinsert the charging plug to get it going again. Sometimes it stops and says "plugged in, not charging", the charging animation on the small icon is inconsistent, it can start going then it stops, and starts going again.

If my laptop dies at 0%, sometimes I have to wait hours, or days and fiddle with the cord until it finally starts charging. Gave my laptop to master, he made sure theres contact with the pin connector by doing full disassembly.

In overall I've done the following things in attempts to solve that issue:

1) Disabled electrical current to broken USB port (it had bent connectors);

2) Cleaned pin hole with medicine alcohol wipe;

3) Made sure the pin makes contact (it does so really well);

4) Removed ACPI battery drivers and rebooted my laptop as some forums suggested that;

5) Did hard reset;

6) Ran HP diagnostics tool, separate and full diagnostics - no issues except for the USB port , that I had got disabled;

7) Got new compatible battery and charger, both are native hp model for my model;

😎 Updated BIOS, chipset and other drivers from HP's website;

Here is one thing that is strange to me:

My laptop seems to get really hot with around 90 degrees celcius when I play. My whole room turns into sauna. But now I can't even warm myself and it is winter out here. Please help, my warranty is long gone, so I can't have replacement and I need solutions and my laptop in order to do my Bachelor thesis.

Best regards

And yes I did try turning it off and then on again
