Hi, i've got a strange problem with my laptop.

-Sometimes when i'm turning on the laptop, it suddenly turns off before i see the windows logo/screen.

-or the laptop suddenly turns off (this happend twice) (today it happend when i was working on it for about 1 hour on battery). <-- (the battery wasn't empty).

It doesn't matter if the laptop is on the grid or on battery, if the battery level is 100% or less.

When i want to restart the laptop, i have to hold down the on/off key for about 20 seconds. (till the caps lock light turns on)

then i can restart the laptop and everything works fine again.

(a few times when the laptop turned off that way, the wireless led (F11) was still on)

(sometimes the problem isn't there for a few days)

-I already changed the settings that closing the lid, press the on/off key shuts down the laptop completely. but this don'twork either.

-reinstalled windows but that didn't helped.

-Disconnected the battery for 30 seconds (with no mains attached 🙂 )

I went to my local store, they told me a weird story that is has to do with the hibernate settings, the laptop doesn't turn off completely and after restarting the motherboard doesn't know what to do and turns off...

I think it's a motherboard failure, and am pretty sure that it isn't windows related, because the whole motherboard freezes

does anyone have a clue?
