Product: HP Spectre x360 Convertible 13
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop turns off when unplugged from adapter and does not turn back on unless plugged in. The display shows the battery is fully charged and the UEFI component test for the battery passed with no problems diagnosed.

 

It also turns off without warning on occasion even when connected to the adapter. That problem is somewhat more frequent when a usb cooling pad is plugged in. 

 

The support website does not display any option to actually contact support, just endless menus and lists of troubleshooting articles that do not address this issue.
