While looking at the 4 different cords I plug into my laptop every time I have to dock it, I was wondering if I could turn that 4 cords into 2 cords.

My laptop has a USB 3.1 Type C port on it. I understand that my laptop doesn't have thunderbolt (despite that misleading lightining bolt next to the port).  I'm wondering if this Type-C port  can support the following.

Right now, I have:

- Keyboard

- Mouse

- Xbox controller

- 2560x1440p 60hz External Monitor

Also, correct me if im wrong, but the laptop cannot charge from this port.

I'm looking at getting a hub that will consolidate the 4 cables, but im not sure if it is fast enough.

Thanks
