Hello!

 

I have a HP Pavilion Notebook-15-p164ca

Model #: J9M61UA

OS: Windows 10 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

HP Hexa-Core 2.0GHz 2.00GHz

AMD Radeon Graphics

 

I recently purchased the Microsoft LifeCam HD-3000 but there is lag on the 1280x720 resolution setting.

 

I have done a disc cleanup. Should I defrag? What else can I do to optimize the performance?

 

Or is the issue that the webcam is not compatible with the PC?

 

I have done so much troubleshooting on this, I'm afraid it's come down to the fact that the webcams have not been compatible.

 

I have a creative video project I want to work on and it's been taking me months to get this all tied up!
