I purchased a new HP ZBook 17 G4 Laptop (Y3J83AV) with Windows 10 Pro. One of the main reasons I purchased it want to be able to wirelessly connect to my new LG TV (LG65SJ8500) using Miracast. However, the new laptop will not connect. To connect, I first start the Miracast setup on my TV, or start Screen Share setup as LG calls it. I then open the action center on the laptop and click on connect. The computer recognizes the LG TV and I click on it and it starts the connection process. Soon after that, the TV screen indicates that the TV is connecting. However, in about 10 seconds the TV stops processing and gives the message that "Your device is disconnected." Then my PC gives the message that it "Couldn't connect." I checked my computer to make sure it supports Miracast, which it does. I also updated Windows with the latest updates. I'm currently running Windows 10, Version: 10.0.17134, Build 17134. I also updated my Intel HD Graphics P630 display driver to the latest version (Version 23.20.16.5018). In my web research I read that "Wireless (Miracast) displays can only be supported by Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) 1.3 and later models." However, I cannot find a driver with that description.
