Hello,

 

I have been needing to calibrate the battery on an hp 840 g2 I just bought. I tried to follow the instructions on HP support assistant but the BIOS menu is different and doesn´t have the same options as what is stated in the hp support assistant.

 

I already updated the BIOS and tried everything I can but I have no component tests on the F2 boot up it seems extremely rudimentary with only two options in DOS style display. Memory check and disk check are the only two I think, can´t remember exactly. Any ideas on why my system is showing this difference to what is suggested by HP is welcome and if you can advise me how to calibrate my battery that would be great.
