Hello all,

My sister let me know of an issue with her computer a week or two ago that I've had little success in resolving so far. She said that the left mouse button acts as the right mouse button, and that the taskbar doesn't respond if she hovers over any icons. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, doing System Restore to before the issue started occurring, and I have tried using an external mouse, which did work for a little while, but today I found out that even that wasn't working very well.

The first thing that comes to mind is replacing the mouse/touchpad altogether (and probably also replacing the top cover entirely), which is probably referenced in the service manual. But, if this issue requires something a lot less drastic, please let me know.

Thanks in advance.
