Battery: New, brought yesterday

AC Adapter: A real HP Ac Adapter, from the original box

 

I've been getting an error message saying my PC's battery is low, so I brought a new one, it did solve some issues, however it still required several minutes of pressing the Power Button to open, which is a mild inconvenience. I checked the charger, it can charge other HP devices properly, but not mine, I tried discharging my PC (15 second hold of Power Button and then replace charger and battery) didn't work. My PC Battery is in perfect condition, and so is my AC Adapter, but my PC still requires 4-5 minutes worth of pressing the button. Furthermore, sometimes it does open, but abruptly shuts down seconds later.
