HP Pavillion Notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I hope you're well.

I am having an issue with a keyboard for a laptop that I have. The caps lock key can only be toggled occasionally. When the Caps lock key is on, no other keys on the keyboard work. The on-screen keyboard does not work correctly either. When I turn off the Caps Lock using the keyboard, it does not turn off, the only way to turn it off is to use the on-screen keyboard. The symbols '*' and " ' " show when any one key is pressed immediately after turning on Caps Lock, at times, the number "8" is displayed.

The 'g' key at times displays letters g and f.

The 'h' key displays letters h and j at times.

What I have tried:

- Using a third party software called 'KeyTweak' to reroute the Caps Lock key but to no avail.

- I tried uninstalling the keyboard driver and restarting the laptop but to no avail.

- I entered the BIOS settings and changes everything to the Default settings but once again, to no avail.

- I delayed the key presses to 'Long', that too did not work.

I was hoping that you could help me out with something else, Thank you.
