Hello

I am lost on what is the problem,

I have a Pavlion DM4 laptop and I want to stream tv shows to my new Sony Bravia KD-55AF8DU. I have the Tv streaming through 5.1 system.

It's weird cus when connect the High speed HDMI cable a SONY TV *00 option comes up on my sound settings, But what ever I do I can not switch my sound to that otpion, I tried enabling it, making it a Default device. I even disabled on board sound card hoping it will force sound from the HDMI cable. But nothing works?

Which has lead me down here.

Also take note that all other devices, like PS4, Blu ray player and etc works via ARC with the Yamaha YHT1810 home theatre system.

 

Can you help me please?
