I'm having trouble with the sound. I can't manage to turn up the volume. It's staying at the lower level, not muted but lowest possible. I can't hear anything and can't turn it up. The keys work fine and the touch screen slider turns up but no sounds can be heard and it always comes back to the lowest level. It doesn't work on internal speakers nor headphones. It won't even detect any headphones connected.

I've tried all possible reset, I've checked the hardware but nothing seems disconnected. I went through the "sound issues FAQ" but nothing worked for me. My microphone will not work either. The only way I can hear any audio is if I connect any Bluetooth speakers but the microphone won't work as well.

System specifications :
- Chrome OS 91 (stable)
- the problem happens on all Chromebooks app, guest mode or not
- the slider slides back to where it was. The only way I can try to turn up the volume is via touchscreen but it will not work with the keys.
Model is: HP CHROMEBOOK X2 12-F002NF
Please help!!
