My question is I was told by the little icon near the battery that I needed to replace the battery,My computer was working great before I replaced the battery no problems what so ever.So I go and buy a $88.00 from Battery's Plus and its the battery what Compaq calls for its a Rayovac #COM11955had computer with me when I bought the battery. So I let battery charge fully before turning it on and using it. So I Go to the turn computer on and everything comes on except the screen its black and the computer will not boot up what is the problem. You can here the fan running and I tried the CD-Rom and it opens and closes put CD in and the CD is turning and working. The light besides the caps lock is continuous blicking and the like above the number pad where it says Altec Lansing is continuous blinking and the light above the mouse pad is on but not blicking like the other ones. Also the power button is a grey color and the wifi indicator is orange not blue .I have had this computer a few years and over all this has been the best laptop ever. I have owned many so please I need help to find out whats going on so I can start using it again. Thanks
