Product Name: HP Pavilion X360 Convertible PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home Single Language (64-bit)
Internet Connection: Wireless
A few days ago, I turned on my PC and wanted to do some work. When I tried to connect to the internet, it didn't work (I pressed the Wi-fi button, but the pop-up menu did not show any of the wireless connections). I even tried troubleshooting the issue, but (after a while) it showed: Troubleshooting has completed
Troubleshooting was unable to automatically fix all of the issues found. You can find more details below. (Here's what I saw)
Problems found
An ethernet cable is not properly plugged in or might be broken Not fixed ❌
I actually want to connect to a wireless, so this wasn't of any help...
I even tried the following steps, but it didn't work.
Go to Device manager > select the WIFI drivers under network adapter> Right click go to properties > Under properties go to Power Management Tab> Uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".
My computer doesn't have a wireless key, so I even tried these:
Clicked on Start, and typed troubleshooting into the search field.
Selected troubleshooting from the search results.
Next, headed down to Network and Internet.
Clicked on Internet Connections
All of it started after I updated my PC. Even MS Office wasn't working after the update, but it got fixed. Yesterday, after I kept it switched on for a while, it got connected, but today it's the same again. Although ethernet is working, I'd like this to be resolved 🙂
Here's what I see every time I click on the Wi-Fi button
