Operating System: Ubuntu LTS

Hi... i have a problem that suddenly the notebook is gone black. When i try to put it on the caps lock starts blinking slowly continously and screen stays black. This with power cable only. With power cable and battery inserted the power goes away and i have not even blinking. Just goes off in one second. Something I can do? Thanks a lot.
