HP-15 ac179tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP-15 ac179tx with windows 10 pro 64 installed. In the boot options I have legacey support----> disabled and secure boot----> enabled. I am trying to disable secure boot in order to boot into a GPT partioned NTFS bootable  windows 10 usb. When i disable secure boot and save and exit changes I am facing the usual message, [Operating system boot mode change (021) ]  which asks to enter a displayed 4 digit code followed by enter to validate the changes.

Problem is, I at this point, when I enter the displayed 4 digit code+ enter it is not accepting the input. Only the Esc key is working which discards the changes I made in bios.

Previously I had Engish(India) keyboard layout for windows. I changed it to English(US) hoping it would work but it is still not working.

N.B: I dont have administrator or any such password set inside BIOS.

I also have an updated BIOS as provided in HP drivers page for my laptop model.
