Product: EliteBook 840 G1
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Windows 10, version 1803, build 17134.165
I don't manage to perform the TPM update
I downloaded the IFXTPMUpdate_TPM12_v0434.exe
If I want to execute I am asked for the Owner password which I do not have.
Then I tried to follow the HP instructions (SP82407/Readme.html) for this issue. To no avail.
I used Powershell, I used the plain command prompt, both with admin priviliges.
- reg add HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\TPM /f /v OSManagedAuthLevel /t REG_DWORD /d 4
This one I could accomplish - WMIC /namespace:\\root\cimv2\Security\MicrosoftTpm Path Win32_Tpm Where __RELPATH="Win32_Tpm=@" Call SetPhysicalPresenceRequest 14
This one generated errormessages, like "bad query" and "access denied" - shutdown -r -t 15
This one worked, but I still have not patched my TPM.
I cleared the TPM under windows, did not help either.
Help most welcome. Thank you for your attention.
