Hi,
I have Probook 450 G5 with standard encryption using Bitlocker. When I completely shut down my laptop and switch off power cable then next time I turn on a laptop "Power-On Authentication" screen shows off (before boot menu). It was working properly until today. Now neither fingerprint is not recognized nor password is correct. And I'm sure my password is 100% correct.
I have Microsoft (office 365) account instead local account so "whoami" on cmd returns "azuread\NAME.SURNAME", but on "Power-On Authentication" I can see "DESKTOP-XXXXXXX\defaultuser1". Obviously I haven't created such an account and never seen it before.
I can't remember what was in this place previously when I managed to log in properly.
As I've read on this forum resetting BIOS using "SMC.bin" is no longer supported in any region?
Is there any other way to either reset BIOS or change "defaultuser1" to the correct account when my password is really working?
FYI I have BitLocker recovery key for os drive
