Product: Pavilion dv8
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I followed the solution provided by Kait and things and everything was going well until it came to reinstalling the tone control software.  I couldn't accept the conditions because the installation wizard's pop-up wasn't big enough to display the accept button.  I couldn't make the pop-up any bigger.  The result is I can't reinstall the tone control software. 

 

Any solutions?

 

I still get the top slider bar although it is much smaller . . . .
