Zbook 17
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

my Zbook 17 have HDD issues with sector errors.
Tried to clone the original WD 7500BPKT 750GB HDD to Crucial MX500 1TB wihout success. when boot from SSD messages about no RAID disk available.

can installation of SSD in free slot and change the RAID to RAID1 be a solution to extend the lifespan of my HP?

or is the issue that the old disk is SCSI and the new SSD is not?
