Probook 450 G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Probook 450 G5, and it can no longer connect with the USB-C Dock G5.

None of the following work:

- usb-c charging (power delivery),

- network connection,

- displays/HDMI.

(All of this worked at some point in the past, I think it stopped working in late 2020, probably due to some windows update).

However, USB devices (e.g. keyboard) plugged into the dock do work.

I tried:

- installing latest widnows updates

- updating BIOS.

- downloaded/installed all updates in the HP Support Assistant

Cannnot upgrade firmware: the HP Firmware Installer gives message: "Device not connected. Please close this application, connect the device, and try again".

Note: I can connect to the dock with my other laptop, Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Gen6, and it all seems to work ok (usb, hdmi, network...)

What else can I try?
