First thing, I don't have an HP laptop, but my question still applies

Need to connect two 1440p screens to a laptop with only one HDMI port

1. Does the adapter support MST (allowing daisy chaining of multiple screens via DisplayPort)

2. If using the adapter on a laptop with onboard HDMI, would a screen connected to the adapter work as an extended display whilst simultaneously using a screen plugged into the laptop's HDMI port, i.e. primary display would be a screen connected via HDMI, extended screen connected via DisplayPort

Tried contacting HP sales, no joy
