Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello community,

I have added a new mainboard to my Zbook 17 G5. It was an upgrade from an I7 to an I9. Everything worked fine.

However the main board still is in manufacturemode and asks for the serial number+Build ID+Bios ID.

Now I'm wondering whether to use the numbers from the old mainboard - in spite of the  differences.

In this case the system would be identified by a wrong number an therefore maybe there could be wrong information for driver installation or system setup.

I did not get any help from HP directly or other pc supports.

Maybe someone around here has a hint or advise ?

best regards
