I'm considering upgrading the RAM in my Laptop. It currently has 4Gb and it <Laptop> is currently the standard specification.

I'd like to upgrade the RAM as memory usage is almost constantly at 90% and above, with CPU rarely above 50%. I don't wish to create any more virtual space as SSD space is required.

I'd like to do this myself (I have built Desktops in the past and upgraded SSD's and RAM on  personal Laptops in the past) as I have a reasonable working knowledge of 'under the hood' but as this is this is the laptop i use for business, i can't afford to get it wrong!

I'm looking for details of the DIMM, what RAM could be added or any other advice.

Many thanks

Graeme
