HP Recommended

I hooked up an new keyboard ... and ONLY the touchpad was working. NO Backlight ... NO KEYS ... This was on a NEW OS install of Windows 10.

Finally after re-seating all cables and thinking I shorted maybe the keyboard out ....

I installed ALL drivers using an external keyboard and then once ALL the drivers were installed the built in Keyboard and Back-lite started working again !!!

WHO would think that you need drivers for a back-lite crazy ... but PROOF is in the pudding! CRAZY HP!
