Hi,
We have approx 90 ProBook 440 G6 with Realtek RTL8822BE wifi adapters, 90 low spec 250 G7s with Realtek RTL8821CE and 30 255 G7 with Realtek RTL8821CE.
All of these have severe networking issues on Meraki APs (MR33, MR53, MR36 and MR45). This includes constant disassociation, which reaults in packet loss and eventually preventing the machines from joining the SSID.
I've been through the HP script, they are telling me it's an access point issue with Meraki. Meraki have had me capture the wifi traffic in promiscuous mode through kali linux - they say it's a client issue with the realtek adapters.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
I have tried:
-lots of minor changes to radio settings on the meraki APs
-all updates applied on laptops
-drivers installed via windows update, or direct from hp, or direct from realtek
-Various different power management settings
-disabled microsoft wifi direct virtual adapter
At the moment it's looking like our only viable solution is to buy a truckload of Intel wifi adapters and advise that the company move away from HP hardware.
Thanks
