Product: HP Elite x2 1012 G1 Tablet with Travel Keyboard
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)
Hello I have a HP Elite x2 1012 G1 running windows 10
when I run defender I receive a sever threat for MonitoringTool:win32/MicTrayDebugger
when I look to action the alert nothing happens the computer hangs for removal and quarantine.
I've tried:
windows updates - all updates have been done
HP support assistance update
manual update for the audio drivers
rebuilding the machine
avast, reimage, cccleaner, Sophos and a couple of other trials of malware removal tool
every time I follow the instructions I find on line and then rerun defender the threat is always there.
any help would be appriciated
