The original Li-Ion battery in my laptop suffered from heat expansion, making it dangerous to use. I tried looking for a genuine hp replacement battery, part number 933322-855, but it doesn’t seem that anyone sells a genuine battery.

I did go to Amazon, and purchased a third party battery... it arrived and I was able to install it without any issues. (Good fit and quality).

When I turned on my laptop with the new battery for the first time, I received a BIOS error 065, indicating that the battery is NOT genuine... although I was able to get past that by hitting Enter, there appears to be no way to have the system ignore this error upon reboot. (Tried all kinds of setting in BIOS, nothing helped)

So, long story short... is there a setting that we can use to disable the stop message? Perhaps we need a BIOS update with a function to disable this message? Or, better yet... make the genuine HP battery easier to find and purchase!
