Envy x360 -15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I knew that when I ordered a custom X360 in mid-August that it would not ship until early October, but I guess I should have come to this forum sooner, as that would have told me not to take the chance with HP. Unfortunately, I did not do that and my shipping date has gone from 6 October to 9 November and I have little confidence that 2nd date will be met. I have requested a refund from HP, as I really have to replace an old laptop and can’t wait until mid-November (or later) for a new one. Unfortunately, HP has denied my request for a refund, saying it was too late (this request was filed the day I was told of the 2nd delay).

So, the advice I need. I can buy a new laptop now, then either return the Envy to HP when (and if) it arrives, but risk paying a hefty re-stocking fee or I can just wait and struggle along as is.

I’d love to hear from someone who has returned a new laptop to HP and what that experience was. Thanks!
