Product: HP EliteBook 8460p
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

When the laptop was started Windows came up and stated it had not been stopped correctly. The next screen was the choice of how I wanted to start, Safe Mode etc. I elected regular and the sign in screen came uplooking for password but it was sideways (I think you call it Portrait mode) and the cursor was not matching with the touch pad. The sensitivity of the touch pad was out of wack. Couldn't get the signin typed even using the on screen typewriter. I tried the Alt, contr, arrow keys but it didn't work. Please help before my Grandson loses faith in me.
