Product: Probook 440 G2
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

 The backlight on the LCD display of the screen remains lit even when I put the laptop to sleep or even when I shut it down. This is particularly frustrating as the issue drains the charge out of the battery of the laptop. I have tried various suggestions like disabling the Fast Boot or switching between the Safe Boot options, but all in vain. Looking for a permanent fix to the problem.
