HP ProDesk 640 G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We are experiencing an issue with these laptops we have over 500 of them where some but not all USB drives fail to load.  For the failing drives Device manager shows WPD filesystem volume driver when USB is plugged in and causes the system to loop until reboot.  Attempting to uninstall the WPD driver during this fails.  The USB drives all work on other systems in the environment so it is not an issue with the devices.  I have formatted one of the USB's and it still fails so format is not an issue.

Machines are all up to date with Windows 10 (2004) patches, and up to date with HP patches from the Support Assistant.

Advice on update or driver removal and insight on why these but not all USB drives fail would be welcome.  The WPD driver does not appear unless the device is installed and removal of the driver fails.
