Hp ZBook 15 G3
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I couldn't find the exact same issue: I ordered and Hp ZBook 15 G3 and it, like many notebooks, has special function you can acces hold the "fn" key and pressing one of the function keys. When I reinstalled windows on it strangely only some of these worked anymore. I've tried reinstalling the drivers but no  luck. Here are the keys:

  • f1 when holding fn starts sleep mode  WORKS
  • f3 toggles the keyboard backlight WORKS
  • f4 is projection modes DOESN'T WORK
  • f5 is lowering brightness DOESN'T WORK
  • f6 is increasing brightness DOESN'T WORK
  • f8 is volume down WORKS
  • f9 is volume up WORKS
  • f10 toggles mic mute DOESN'T WORK
  • insert is print screen WORKS

There's a setting to turn off function keys, but I don't know about turning off only some, nor could I find any such thing.
