Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

So from yesterday a number of keys on my keyboard have stopped working (V, Tab, all 'F' Keys, M) and I'm trying to figure out what it is.

 

I've tried:

 

Cleaning and making sure nothing it sticking

Uninstalling keyboard driver and rebooting

Checking driver updates

Restoring to previous date

 

The issues is in all software and a USB keyboard works fine but I don't want to carry that around too to see clients.

 

The machine is only 3 months old so I'm not particularly happy.  Does anyone have any other ideas?

 

If it's a harware issues does any one know how long a solution takes and whether I'll need to send my laptop away?  I'm a freelancer so no laptop means no money.  Just wondering, it it is hardware, whether I cut my losses and buy a new keyboard as that'll be cheaper than losing business.
