HP Spectre 13 Ultrabook Model 13-3010LA
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This issue has been happening for a while but it has become more annoying since I use YouTube/internet videos/streaming services more frequently with this latop.

I bought this laptop brand new several years back with Windows 8.1. I don't recall that this issue was present back then. I stopped using this laptop but in 2020 I replaced the battery, upgraded to Windows 10 and started using it again. I've noticed that when I'm connected to wifi network there is a strange sound/noise when playing music or videos (it happens when streaming/downloading content or even when playing files already in computer). Noise is like static or speakers crackling. It happens with speakers or headphones. I'm pretty sure it doesn´t happen if I connect laptop to Smart TV using HDMI cable. Sometimes it is very noticeable and sometimes it's barely noticeable but it happens all the time. If I disconnect from the wifi network the noise dissapears and sound when playing music or videos is very clear.

I've confirmed all drivers are up to date using HP Tools (eg HP Support Assistant). All devices are working properly according to Windows device manager.

I've seen in forums that this is a common problem but I have not found a definitive solution. Is this a known problem for my device and is there a known solution? Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks for your help

Kind regards
