Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My notebook was not connected to any external devices except the power supply. I was using my notebook, left the room,  came back a few minutes later and it appeared to have suspended or hibernated (black screen). I am unable to wake it up. The white light on the power button blinks (~3 second on, then 3 off).

I tried holding the power button for 10-15 seconds multiple times to force it to reset. The light on the power button stops blinking. Then I press the power button again and it starts blinking again,  but it will not wake up or reboot.

It behaves the same whether it is plugged into the power adapter  not.

Note book is about 2 years old. I have not knowingly made any updates/ changes.

How can I force it to reboot?
