Hi
I have a Chromebook that says "Chrome OS is missing or damaged. Please remove all connected devices and start recovery".
Model "BARLA C3C"
I have downloaded the Chromebook recovery media to a USB stick but can not get it to boot from it due to being stuck on a cycle of the Chrome OS is missing or damaged screen.
Steps tried:
1. Remove USB stick. Turn device off.
2. Hold esc + refresh keys and press power button, release power button.
This boots up and brings up the "Chrome OS is missing or damaged screen."
1. Remove USB stick, leave device on the above screen
2. Hold esc + refresh keys and press power button, release power button.
This reboots and brings up the "Chrome OS is missing or damaged screen."
I have tried other combinations:
With USB inserted / without it inserted.
Ctrl + D
With USB-C power cable attached / without attached.
Any help please?
Thanks
Geoff
