HP ZBook Studio x360 G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

Ive had my HP ZBook Studio Workstation x360 G5 for about 2 months, and with it came a HPZBook x360 Pen, which was working perfectly until about a week ago. It started working less precise, and the screen doesnt recognise when i try to draw on certain area's with the pen.

The strangest thing about all this is that this doesnt happen the entire time. Sometimes the pen functions normally on the entire screen, other times im only able to draw straight lines on specific areas of the screen.

Ive made images of a few attempts to draw some continued or straight lines, as seen below:

These drawings are all made while the screen is turned all the way around, like a tablet, because thats how i use it most often when drawing or writing, I havent (yet) had the problem while using the pen when the screen is standing upright like a normal laptop, but this is probably because i mostly use my mouse when using the laptop in this stance.

I have already tried to hard reset my pc, by holding the powerbutton for 30 seconds with all cables disconnected, but this hasnt fixed the issue.

I hope somebody knows how to fix this, because its really frustrating.

Sincerely,

Chris Wattjes
