Hi Community,

I'm using a Elitebook 850 G4 laptop, with Intel HD Graphics 620 video device, with VGA, Displayport display outputs which work fine with traditional 16:9 external monitors.  I would like now to use instead a 34" UWQHD 100 or 144 Hz curved monitor and was wondering if my laptop could handle it ?

From the technical specifications it would appear that only 16:9 diagonals (or similar diagonal ratios) are supported, and up to 60 Hz only. The Displayport 1.2 would however be able to handle resolution up to 4096x2304, which is beyond my desired UWQHD monitor I'm targeting.

So I seem to have two issues : screen type and vertical refresh frequency ?

Do you confirm this limitation or can my wish come true ?

Thanks for your advice !
