Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

During a software update for the Synaptics Fingerprint Reader the Synaptics desktop icon and the software to re-scan your fingerprint was removed.  Now my swipe on the fingerprint reader posts the invalid message.  How do I get the re-scanning software that had the video clips on how to scan your fingers and the choice picture to chose which fingers to scan.  Synaptics site states to contact your hardware manufacturer.
