Hi

I want to disable the cursor in the button zone of my synaptics touchpad.

I know this is possible since Lenovo actually has settings for this with their SmartSense app.

The amazing response from HP was: "Deal with it. It is how the product was designed."

Does anyone know if there is independant software out there for me to change these settings? It is mighty frustrating that the mouse cursor moves in the area where the buttons are on the touchpad.

If you don't know of any software out there, do you know what the registry settings are that I could add/change for this?

I've looked for the "SuppressCursorInButtonZone" setting in my registry, but it does not seem to exist.

My device info is:

Synaptics TouchStyk V2.0 on PS/2 Port 1

Driver version: 19.5.9.23

Firmware version: 2.0

Interface: PS/2
