I have a HP Probook 4540 and running a Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.
A HP recommended update for BIOS and “Intel video driver and control panel” is what I installed recently, leading to audio issues : I get a warning window each time I reboot : “The catalyst control center is not supported by the driver version of your enabled graphics adapter. Please update your AMD graphics adapter or enable your adapter using the displays manager”
The laptop does not have any sound on shut off and shut on, when I play a video on the net, or when DVD /CD plays .
I have tried updating display adapters but all come as updated.
I tried uninstalling intel display driver and then reinstalled but same problem still persists.
Is this in any way related to the recommended BIOS update I performed and any easy solutions please explain as I am not a technical person.
