Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello community,

I have really a strange case and I cannot figure out what happened. Bringing my noteback back from standby mode neither the touchpad nor the touchscreen were responding.

Windows is on the latest version and I installed all required updates via HP SoftPaq Download Manager (including a BIOS update). When doing tests on the BIOS level both the touchpad and the touchscreen are responding as they should.

Looking at the device manager I can only see the HID touchscreen driver hidden. Based on some further search on the forum I found a ost in which it was mentioned that the driver should get unistalled which I did. Problem I am now having is that I am not finding a way to get it installed again. I installed HP Support Assistant, but this did not find a missing driver.

I cannot find any HP download link for the drivers needed for a the Elitebook.

Can anyone suggest what I need to do next, please?

Thanks

Markus
