Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, can I connect the USB-C port of my Laptop to the motherboard's USB-C port of my Desktop PC using an standard USB-C cable? Is there any risk? Thanks in advance.

 

Laptop: HP Envy x360 Convertible Laptop (15m-ed0023dx)

Motherboard: Gigabyte B550 AORUS PRO V2
