My 2020 HP ENVY X360 15 inch convertible laptop keeps losing USB-C video out to DELL U2721DE (65W Hub Monitor) every 10-15 minutes. I need to unplug and plug the USB-C cable back to have the display back again. Any ideas why?

Background:

I received the first custom laptop in Jan 2021 with the same issue. After not being able to resolve the issue via BIOS updates and settings changes, I returned the first laptop thinking it might be a faulty USB-C Port. HP tech support could not solve the issue and offered a free replacement.

I received the new replacement today (March 30, 2021) and, am still having the same issue.

The Dell U2721DE works fine via USB-C with my 2019 HP ENVY X360 15 inch but, not with the new 2020 model. The monitor has a Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse receiver plugged into it. The keyboard and mouse still work even when the display loses audio/video connection via USB-C. The Dell U2721DE is a hub monitor with a 65W power delivery through the USB-C cable. So, it is supposed to be able to charge and receive data/video/audio all through one USB-C Cable. The new laptop is charging correctly via the USB-C Cable and the audio/video connection works fine until it loses audio/video connection randomly every 10-15 minutes.

Thank you to the community for your help and ideas!
