Product: HP Probook 440 G4
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP Probook 440 G4 with a USB-C port. I've been researching about this type of port and it seems that there are multiple configurations of these ports (e.g., DisplayLink USB Graphics, Alt Mode Video Output and Power Delivery Charging) depending on what the manufacturer has elected to support.

 

Does anyone know what type of configuration a HP Probook 440 G4 computer supports?

 

I was thinking of getting a dock for it and have seen some nice ones around that support multiple displays as well as others that support power delivery.

 

If a dock has power delivery but a computer doesn't support that, is it a problem to plug that dock into the computer?
