USB-C Universal Dock
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I am using the USB-C Universal Dock with a (company) HP Elitebook i5 connected to two monitors.

When I turn the machine on whilst connected, it takes almost ten minutes to start up. The windows screen loads and I stare at a 'please wait' screen for several minutes before the OS loads and it performs normally, albeit slowly.

If I disconnect the laptop from the docking station and boot, the start process is normal speed, I am able to be logged in within a minute or so.

If I attempt to connect the docking station after turning the machine on, the machine does not detect the two monitors or any of the other devices (keyboard and mouse) that are connected. If I restart (while staying connected to the dock) then the screens are recognised but as above, this takes several minutes.

Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features appears to have driver version 1.17.1 which appears to be the latest version. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!
